Kyle Collins writes irreverent comedies
where underdogs bite back against what society expects from them and allows for them. The black sheep shine. The runts of the litter thrive. It’s a natural result, he thinks, when characters (or people!) embrace who they are and stop trying to fit into a dumb system that’s broken in the first place.
All he had to do to realize this for himself
was grow up gay in the conservative South, have a messy party phase, get sober, and gain access to his deep well of inner strength! Easy!

Kyle studied media at Mercer University in Georgia and playwriting at Oxford University in England before working as a journalist and marketing strategist. His half-hour comedy pilot, ORGANIZE THIS!, was a semi-finalist in the Outstanding Screenplays competition. At any given moment, he can give you detailed analysis of the day’s TikTok drama or go on about latest wellness trick he's trying.
